Jan's Opinion: What a wonderful chic flick, though some of you tender hearts might need a few tissues. Be prepared to move from present day to the past during the movie and enjoy the relationships between Mother and Daughters, between sisters and between friends. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I have to disagree with this review. 'Evening' left me sleepy. Perhaps I had too high of expectations with the cast, but I felt like I was just watching a made-for-TV movie special. Meryl Streep rocked my world, as she normally does, but her real-life daughter who played the young Lila was a let-down! Sorry Jan!
